Donovan Milano is the perfect example of a Rock Star. He put the moves on Heather Rose during a concert and WOW! Ice could have melted in the wintertime with all the heat that was passing between the two of them. I like the Theresa Hissong made a “famous” guy be just a good ole regular guy who wants to be loved for him and not because he’s in a band. Heather is afraid that of being a Rock Star’s girlfriend. She knows that bands always have a different girl in every town and she doesn’t want to be that girl. She doesn’t know what to do. Then something happens and we find out that Donovan Milano has been given the personality of every woman’s fantasy. He’s tender, loving and so very protective. Theresa Hissong has done the most interesting thing in Chapters 16-19 and I found it really added an emotional touch to the story. I want to take just a minute in this review to thank Theresa Hissong for being so generous to Star Treatments with her donations from the sale of the book. Great Job! I loved the book and hope there’s more coming on the rest of the band.

I was talking with Cherry Adair last fall and she said that she had been told since erotic books were so popular that she needed to write one. She said no, she didn’t write erotic books but she would try to come up with something. This book is not an erotic book but it’s one of the best “naughty” books that I’ve read. It’s nothing like her usual books of government agents and wizards but it does have the usual bad guy. Cruz Barcelona is the best of the best in the assassin’s world and this was going to be his last job. He would have enough money to retire so he headed to a little rural town in Louisiana. The first time he met Mia Hayward who was really Amelia Wellington-Wentworth, she mistook him as a male prostitute that she had hired for the night. Amelia is the CEO of Blush, her family’s billion dollar cosmetic company. Someone has been trying to kill her and they hired Cruz to get the job done. He soon has questions about why someone wants her dead. She’s an innocent and he only assassinates the guilty.  I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I know I said it’s nothing like her books but it really is. It’s fun and exciting and kept me guessing all the way through it as to who wanted her dead. Needless to say, I was wrong with my guess. Read it and I know you will like it.

It is a great book!

This is the 2nd book in the series and I thought it was just as good as the first book. You take a reluctant genie (and seriously, who doesn't want a genie?) and send him to meet a human. Oh, let's not forget, not only is he to meet her but he is also to tell her that the Council is making them get married. This is a great book where you get the genie in the back yard instead of in a bottle. Then mix in a little of the ex-husband and the ex-wife. And you get something better than a mixed drink. Then the genie's mother is also on the council so he goes to her for advice from his mother and she get's all council on his butt before giving him motherly advice. I think you will like it becuase it's not your typical fairy tale.

Mastered has ten books in it by some great writers. I’m never sure how to write a review by this many authors so I’m just going to say that these are ten very hot and sensual stories. They are not your slow and easy sweet romance. These are strong women who want and need strong men in their love life. If you want a dominant man to ensure your fantasies come true, you will enjoy these books. These aren’t hard core BDSM stories but they aren’t your vanilla stories either. I found some new authors to follow and I think you will, too. Read them and have your fantasies come alive.

I’m never sure how to write a review on boxed sets but this has six new paranormal romance stories by some really great writers. The Hunted Heart is by Carrie Ann Ryan and is about the doctor Noah and the pack Elder, Emeline.   They are trying to find a cure to help Noah get his eyesight back. Emeline has been alive hundreds of years and Noah is a lot younger. Emeline had a mate years ago but he wasn’t her true mate. Noah has to figure out how to get Emeline to acknowledge he is her true mate. He may be young but he’s determined.

Jackal’s Measure is by Marie Harte and tells the story of Tariq and Eden. This was a new story for me and I really enjoyed it. We see Tariq who is in Portland being bombarded by the god of chaos, Set.

Set wants Eden and commands Tariq bring her to him. We find out how strong these two people are in the story. Love always wins, right?

Alpha’s Sacrifice is by Rebecca Royce and tells the story of Hayden and his mate, Chelsea who is also a seer. The True Believers are involved in this story. Sit back in your chair and get ready for a true forever life mate. You don’t see this kind of love often so enjoy it when you can.

Touch of Desire by Lia Davis tells us the story of the submissive wolf, Cora, and the senior enforcer, Torin.   It tells how a person/wolf can take so much destruction, try to keep surviving, but not know where to get help. Cora’s wolf was dying from so much sadness that finally

Torin has to step up to bat. We see Cora as submissive but she’s got a strength that we find as we read. If you need some strength, read this cause she’s got some to share.

Sangue Fever by Ann Mayburn tells the story of Lisabetta, a vampire focused on revenge and now finds herself lonely and a heart encased in ice. Her Maker, Sargon, loves her and wants her to be happy. Can you find a life of love and happiness? Is there more than one way to be happy? She shows us that you can change your life if you are really determined.

Fobidden Rescue by Heather Long is the first book in a new series. Fox, the best Watcher at Enoch, Kincaide and Sage, protects Jubilee who just wants to protect her brother. This is not a love at first sight but it’s pretty close. It has a lot of excitement though so I think it’s going to be a great series.

I recommend this book for anyone looking for some excitement in their reading. All the books are written with strong people.

I was given this as a gift by the author for a review. And this was also a new author to me. All I have to say is oh, my gosh! I loved it. When I first read what it was about I thought a police officer who is a cage fighter? Really? This isn’t going to be a very good book but I was so wrong. Jack Daniels (yes, you can laugh) grew up beside Chrissy and was her brother’s best friend. She left town when she turned eighteen and hasn’t been back since. Now she’s back and she’s not having a good day. Now she’s been pulled over and first thing she does is hit’s him in the private parts when she hands over her license. What a way to realize that you know him, huh? It’s hard for her to deal with her brother and Jack. She’s against violence and they seem to live for it as they fight. She has to learn how bad things can make you stronger. Also she learns the real reasons that Jack has to fight about.

I strongly recommend the book and the author. She knew exactly how to make a police officer into a cage fighter.

This was a really good book. It was a sweet romance with a little spice added in for flavoring. I liked it because Alex is a caring intelligent person with a small town background. Caleb is a hotshot air force pilot who has come home from overseas to find out he’s been dumped by Alex’s sister. He has a strong personality but just needs to find out what happened when he left. Yes, we all know what happened but it’s a really good book. It’s very exciting and not the usual syrupy romance. I would recommend it to anyone who wants more than the plain no sex book but less then the sex every two minutes. You will enjoy reading this book.

Emma is another member of The Freaky Five group of friends.   Emma is meeting her friends at the bar they co-own together. She is a romance writer who doesn’t believe in romance because her fiancé left her 3 weeks before the wedding. So she’s at the bar and guess who shows up? Yep, you’re right if you picked Brock. He’s actually got the nerve to pull her into his arms and kiss her like he never went anywhere. This is another short story but you have to enjoy it because Brock’s so determined to get her back and Emma’s just as determined to stay out of his way. So you ask who wins in this situation? Read it and find out for yourself. You will enjoy the ending.

I love it! You can tell Ethan has just made Olivia a very happy woman. And really, who doesn’t want a man like that? This is a short book but the action starts quick between the two of them. There’s a lot of action so you don’t really miss the longer book.

The Freaky Five is a group of five women that have become best friends and co-own a bar together. They have gotten together in the bar and started playing a game of play or pay (which they came up with last year while drunk). Olivia is the lucky woman who starts the game. She has decided to play because the one who pays has to do an interview with this woman whom she hates. She picks Ethan because she has been seeing him around town and has some hot dreams about him. This is definitely a summer game because it would melt the snow if played in winter. I guarantee you will enjoy this book.

Recee is the last member of The Freaky Five group of friends to play the game “Play or Pay”. She decides finding a man to love is the last thing she wants to do so she decides to pay instead of play. Her friends laugh and tell her that she doesn’t get a choice. They all played and found men to love so they were going to make her play, too. She decides that she will pick Garen to play with. Except, she would just tell them she was going to do it and then not do it. Boy, is she going to be surprised when they decide to force her to play their way.   This is a really good book. Recee is a strong person and can take care of herself but she has shut her emotional self down. Garen has his schedules and lists and hates to redo them. So what happens when the take charge girl messes up Garen’s schedule? Read this very good but short book. It starts out full of action and is one hot book.

Briley’s laptop has died and she has to have it fixed. She goes into the repair shop and the guy totally ignores her entrance. He finally realizes she’s there and gets flustered. Carter is a geeky full blown nerd who just happens to be hotter than a fire cracker. Then someone comes into the store to rob them and Briley saves the day. This messes up everything as far as Carter is concerned. But The Freaky Five friends step up to save Briley from making a bad choice. It’s a short book but a really good read. It’s not quite as hot as the other books in the series but sometimes it nice to step back and have a sweet romance.

Trinity made a mistake last year. She slept with Hunt who then ran for the hills. Her Freaky Five group of friends have forced her hand in the Play or Pay game. They drugged her and Hunt kidnapped her. This is Hunt’s time to step up to bat. Trinity is a determined woman but she’s been hurt. Hunt is a determined man who will win the game or else. He’s finally realized that he can’t protect Trinity and still have a life. If you like mild bondage this is the book for you. I really liked this book so please be sure and read it.

Finally we have come to the last book in the triology. Parker and Chloe are planning their wedding. So their life should be running smooth now. But it’s not. I have to say that I have enjoyed the first two books but this book is my favorite. The author, Regina Frame, has grown so much since the first book. You can see the confidence that she has gained and it shows in this book. There are so many emotions running around in here that you wouldn’t think it would work but it does. Parker is such a confident man but he gets knocked down in the beginning of this book. Then Chloe is just the opposite. She feels so insecure then grows confident that she is what Parker really wants. She becomes the strong person that he needs to help him in his life. I recommend reading all three books. You will really enjoy them.
